First time making it to...
So this is the furthest I have ever gotten in GW, I am so used to exploring the world and not doing quests >.<
So I am at: Ring of Fire Island Chain and up till now my maxed out armour and blue dragon flame sword... (^^ loves it!) have kept me alive. but i steped out ito explore the vast island that looks identical to Ascalon and was slaughtered >.< So as I am a warrior is it going to be all about the build, or is there any tips you guys can give me for me to be able to explore without dying as much.... |

Once you leave Perdition Rock, go to the rez shrine to your left and sit there and watch the patrols. Once you know what's coming and when, pull a group to a safe spot and kill them. Rinse/repeat.
If you aren't dying from over agro, it would help to know what campaigns you have access to, or if you have heroes or not and what you think is killing you. |

I was dying for argo I have All the campaigns and I have heros with me (mostly ones from eotn and the mox.
I think i will have to wait for the patrols to be seperated because im use to fighting lv24 groups (large groups 6+) but that was like 8+ and I was being slaughtered from what looked like Mesmer spells. |

Spread out and pull. Thats basically all you need in end campaign missions in NM. Builds + more depth info in the War sticky if you want it.

There is no 'e' in making
Anyways the area your in, take it slow. Some of the mob patrols overlap each other and can take your party down very quickly.

Thanks guys I ran the first mission where you take out the guys in the inner circle like the mursatt guys (cant spell worth a damn >.<)
anyways, so I plan to just explore this island as much as I can and get as many drops and see what kinds of weapons and armor I can get. any other tips, suggestions or ideas for running end game "dungeons" (missions) successfully? |

For EotN and the RoF Islands especially, the compass is your best friend.
Learn to have a quick glance at your compass to spot approaching enemies in order to move/flag your team away from aggro and soon enough very few things will catch you by surprise. I have friends I play with that never look at the compass and it can make things unnecessarily difficult. |

I learned that from my assassin when running around some of the missions.
I also learned that the hard way in eotn.... |
